According to the joint decision of the State Intellectual Property Office of China and the Austrian patent office, the China Austria (DILI) patent examination Expressway (PPH) pilot will be extended for another five years from March 1, 2021 to February 28, 2026. The relevant requirements and procedures for submitting PPH requests in the two bureaus remain unchanged.
The China Austria (DILI) PPH pilot was launched on March 1, 2013, and was extended three times in 2014, 2016 and 2018 respectively until February 28, 2021.
