Our company, formerly known as Suzhou patent office, a public institution under Suzhou science and Technology Commission, was established in 1988. It is the first patent agency in Suzhou and one of the earliest intellectual property service agencies in China. In October 2000, it was restructured into Suzhou Chuangyuan patent and Trademark Office Co., Ltd. according to the regulations of the State Council.

At present, our company has more than 90 employees, including 4 senior partners, 16 partners, 43 licensed patent agents, 13 patent litigation agents, 4 legal practitioners, 16 scientific and technological project applicants and high-tech enterprise applicants. He is the "service industry benchmark enterprise" awarded by Suzhou Municipal People's government, the president unit of Suzhou intellectual property service chamber of Commerce, the top 100 science and technology service institutions in Jiangsu Province, the national intellectual property service brand cultivation institution of the State Intellectual Property Office, the director unit of China national patent agents Association, and the expert team member of Suzhou enterprise listing intellectual property service center.

By the end of 2019, our company has applied for more than 180000 Chinese patents, more than 5000 PCT international patents and foreign patents, and more than 500 patent invalidation and patent infringement lawsuits for more than 6000 domestic and foreign applicants. Our company's invention patent authorization rate and authorization amount have been among the top patent agencies in Jiangsu Province and the whole country for many years. The 39 patents represented by our company won the China Patent Award, which ranked 14 in the national patent agencies.

In 2000, our company filed the first case of application for confirmation of non infringement of patent right to the people's Court on behalf of Suzhou enterprises, which set a precedent for confirming non infringement of intellectual property to the judicial organ. In 2014, In 2014, our company acted as an agent for Suzhou enterprises to deal with a series of patent infringement disputes of Dyson company in the UK, and was selected as a typical case of foreign-related intellectual property disputes in Jiangsu Province. And in 2017, our company acted as an agent for Suzhou enterprises to deal with the European invention patent infringement dispute of Japan sunstar Co., Ltd., and was selected as one of the top ten typical intellectual property cases in Jiangsu Province in 2017.
